Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. (Psalm 1:1)

 

The man of God desires to always be in His presence—meditating on the Word, maintaining daily communion with Him, and absorbing His counsel. That’s why he rejects the practices of the world, for they would draw him away from his Lord and Savior.
